Delivering a cake that expired 4 days previously.
Shame on you Netflorist: I haven't used your services for a long time because too often what I ordered and what was delivered were two different things altogether. On Monday 18th I ordered a red-velvet cake for a child's special birthday on Tues 19th. The cake was delivered but the expiry date on the cake was the 15th!!! Expecting people to eat cake that is 4 days past its expiry date is disgusting and shows pure negligence. Then to make matters worse, I got a call from your service centre to say that your depot was in Jhb South and the delivery to correct your error could only be made today (20th). Your only compensation was to offer a box of chocolates. In my book, it goes against the grain to disappoint children - especially on their special day - but no matter how many times I adamantly stated that you had *****ed up and you needed to fix it, all you could offer was the measly box of chocolates. So the child's party was ruined as it centred around the cake and there was nothing your agent was going to do to change that. I shall NEVER use your services again and - as I do with all other deliveries - flowers and gifts - cakes too will now be delivered by the more reliable service of Uber. Ironically, this was a gift to thank the child's mom for providing us with such outstanding service often. Perhaps you should ask her to train your entire staff on what good customer service looks like. I'm disgusted by your slack attitude to service.
