Birthday Gift not delivered

I ordered a gift to be delivered on my friend's birthday to his work address, but as I type this it is 5pm, everyone has gone home and the gift has still not been delivered. Such a huge disappointment. Everyone has been waiting the whole day for the surprise delivery and nothing came. I feel that I wasted my money and time ordering from Netflorist. I could just as well have asked someone to buy a gift and hand it to my friend.
