You guys supposed to be doing more then just cutting people open

I recently had a surgery on the 30th July and I'm extremely dissatisfied with the state and treatment of this hospital. Extremely disgusting in the service to be treat like just a case number not remembering that you guys cut into people's flesh and that bedside and patient care is more then just nothing. Being admitted at waiting 3 hours on anyone to tell me what's the way forward no doctor to explain or make me feel at ease as this was my first surgery ever eventually up until I had to ask as to what's happening. Just to be told I'll be moving to theater eventually a doctor that I don't know or don't think was the doctor I was told that was going to do my surgery. That doctor asked me what I'm there for like he doesn't know my case rushed to do the operation and then still has the decency to ask where is he operating. Got the surgery and then again and then no doctor to do a post op check up on me except one doctor that wasn't on my case nor knew how to address someone thats just woken from surgery. And says you being discharged and then rushes to the next person not given me a chance to ask questions on my surgery or protocol for post op care. All I was told then I will be contacted with regards to my follow up. This is extremely unprofessional. But yet the hospital was quick to claim their money 5 hours later from my medical aid. As if this was just nothing.

I'm not sure what went on that day as I'm still recovering from this surgery with no dressing changes provided on discharge beside pain ****ers. I guess I have to stick a plaster onto my stitches and heal my self because this is clearly not what this hospital has done besides cut me open and totally disregard for patient care.
