Worst service ever at kroonstad netcare

01 Feb 2026 I took my wife to Kroonstad Netcare due to pains in her left chest causing her lit of pain when sitting or lying down. Keep in mind 2 week ago she went to the same hospital as she had to go through an operation. Getting at netcare we walked into casualty and the gentleman there greated and asked I should open a file so long. As I went and got to the front desk not evening sir how can I assist. Just in rude manner not even looking up from her screen how can I help. As I explained the lady stated that before we can assist your wife you need to pay the R2700 cash and I was shocked as her medical aid does cover 2 casualty visit per dependent. I told the lady sorry say that again since when do we pay cash she has a medical aid she really has pain and needs assistance the lady again stated she is sorry but if we can't pay the cash then they can't assist. Like what the hell. I ended up going back to my wife where she was sitting in pain tears down her face calling her Dr asking what to do and as he stated he needs them to admit her asap but still after that for 15min the Dr on duty did not give a flying F@$% on how she was the person booking in also not we ended up leaving and no one even cared just they stare and ease the rooms open get it ready. Like never again will I go there ill rather be 10% alive going to mediclinic in welkom then being in this hospital and myself as husband is also due an operation for a hernia brake and need to go to netcare kroon as it is the only private hospital in town but im telling you now. I'm going to mediclinic my R40k is much more appreciated there than in kroonstad and ill never take any of my family there again
