Where are the ethics?

Watching the movie "Patch Adams" - is something that a private hospital like yours should watch...

All that your facilities want is money and patients are put 2nd on the chain... Where are the days that a patient's life came first and money last??? Forms & money is wanted before a file is open... Must a patient die before even walking through your ER doors??

I ended up going to a government hospital a year ago and i collapsed in the entrance to the ER - they immediately assisted me into casualty and started stabilizing me - no questions asked... The file came later...
