Waterfall Hospital - don’t do it

The worst experience of my life. Under qualified staff - unable to perform simple tasks as removing a catheter or IV without an ensuing bloodbath. I had to hold the iv tube closed to stop my blood from spurting everywhere while she “went to find someone who k owns how to do it”. That took 10 minutes. Overnight staff diabolical. Loud music. Television. No response to calls for help. When they do shuffle in they make you feel like you’ve interrupted their evening. I paid a fortune for a serious operation and had a private room. I have never been so shocked in my life at the lack of compassion or competency in that hospital. The staff are NOT a qualified. My “nurse” could barely communicate or write the necessary report - I had to do it for her. After my surgery I had to walk the halls to find someone to help remove my catheter and my IV. My family called incessantly to see when I was out of theatre and nobody answered the phone in the ward. The whole thing was disgusting. I checked myself out while holding my finger over the iv tube so that I didn’t bleed out. WTAF is going on here?
