Unresolved account

During hospitalization i had queried whether medication would be charged to medical aid. The attending nurse had explained that if this was not the case, then i would be given the prescription to purchase the medication on my own as it may be cheaper. Also i had a few items at my disposal already. But since I had been advised thta it would be placed against my medical aid as hospital benefits, i did not take the prescription.

A month later i had been given an account to settle by netcare. I had queried the account and noticed that I had been charged for the medication. I had brought this matter up with the account department and I was awaiting feedback.

I had recently received a statement with the same amount now with interest owing due to the same unresolved account.

This is extremely frustrating and I hope this can be rectified.
