We took my 3yr old daughter to emergencies last night, she had high fever and our pediatrician recommended we take her there to be checked out. We waited almost 3hours to see a doctor. When we eventually were called to see the doctor, the Dr said that there is really nothing wrong with my child, its just a viral infection and she can only give her empaped and ponston. I also informed the doc that there were 5 cases in my daughter school in her class that 5 children were tested posted for swine flu. After i had to ask the doc to get swine flu test done then only it was done. Highly unprofessional for the doctor to examine my child throat with her phone light....not even medical equipment was used. This is totally unexpectable seeing that we are paying for a consultation with this doctor and she is checking my childs throat with her phone...i could have done that at home. I asked the Lab to send the test results to our Pediatrician, we received it and my daughter actually have influenza B that is similar to swine flu. The doctor at ER did not want to give us antibiotics. Infact my daughter needed it. Really disappointed with this unprofessional medical service and even worse i have to pay for this.
