My heartfelt thank you to Universitas Academic Hospital, to Dr RP Schulenberg Cardiothoracic surgeon Head of department/school division @ Universitas Academic Hospital, his team of cardiothoracic surgeons and anaesthetists. Namely..Dr AE Engelbrecht and Dr Coetzee Cardio thorasic surgeons in training. Head Anaesthetist, Dr Leoni de Man and her undergraduate Dr Ruan Kruger for performing a much needed heart surgery that other state hospitals were to scared to perform. The Doctors and anaesthetists worked tirelessly for 12 hours in theatre performing a complicated operation that saved my daughter's life. The sistets and nurses in the Cardiac ward are very caring and empathetic. Sister Marlene and Sister Eric need a special mention for performing above the expectation of their work. The general Hospital staff are very helpful and everyone takes their work seriously. For a Hospital that was built in 1978, it is very clean and up to date with their equipment. My heartfelt thank you to Dr Elias Zigriades President of the Society of cardiotheracic surgeons of SA for referring Nikkita's case to Dr Schulenberg and Universitas Academic Hospital. You saved my daughter's life and gave her a new lease of life. Thank you and God bless you all🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
