Unitas shouldn't regard themselves as private anymore. Sadly dropping
I recommended unitas to my cousin. Stressed and worried about her little girl she came all the way to come and use your facilities Unitas hospital.
Taken in at casualties, waiting for a while for the doctor on call to contact the specialist. After while he returned and gave medication and said the child should return on Monday as an outpatient to Dr Sasa. Now if it wasn't serious then they could wait for Monday however because of the severity of the situation they can immediately to seek medical assistance.
It is so disappointing to see how unitas failed a concerned mother with her ill child. No one took the time to actually do test or anything. Within an hour going to another medical Centre and the child was diagnosed immediately. They had to pay R1300 for reasons not known as they were not even effectively assisted. Sending the child home with medication, the parents wouldn't have came all the way to just look for medication that they can get at home.
Very sad that this was the treatment that was received at a hospital I thought was one of the best.
