Uncared for and unsafe.

Hi, Last week I underwent major surgery to remove a tumour from my colon at Waterfall Netcare Hospital. My stay lasted for 9 days. On the second day of my recovery, in ICU, my mobile phone was ****** while I slept under the influence of very strong pain relief, while I was supposedly being watched 24/7 by a nurse. The hospital is quick to state and maintain that they have no liability. However, they don't provide cctv or cabinets that are lockable. Also, where was my nurse? They have taken a stand and refuse to discuss any other solutions or to hold the persons responsible for watching me accountable for leaving their post and serenduring me vulnerable and defenceless against their in house *******. Leading me to believe that they protect their dishonest staff with their no liability stance. It's disgusting!!!! In ICU??? Not even a gesture???? All this happened after an employee tried to negotiate with me to pay R13000 for a CT Scan which upon learning I couldn't afford to pay was suddenly cancelled. We negotiated, she didn't get her R7000 that she was willing to accept in CASH and I then no longer needed a CT scan as it was then immediately cancelled. I'm I ok? Did I need the scan? Did I just not have enough money to buy her????
