Trouble with my mothetbook appointment

I am 30 weeks pregnant and had an appointment to do my mother book yesterday however the Nurse advised me that they are very busy and asked if I can come in on my next appointment to do it. I was a bit disappointed as I am quite eager to sort everything out especially after hearing that my due date might be earlier than expected, however I don't mind doing it at my next visit and the nurse was not rude at all however I was also told that I will be given a list of things that tells me what I need to bring to hospital when I have my baby. I called in to find out if they could at least email me that list so that I can start preparing and I was told no. I don't mind coming in next month for my mother book but I would have liked the list to be sent to me as it was not my fault that the hospital was busy yesterday when it was my turn to sort things out.
