Traumatic experience at Netcare Kingsway Hospital

Netcare Kingsway Hospital, Amanzimtoti Firstly, there appears to be no queuing system for patients awaiting triage. People who arrived after me, were greeted by a nurse entering the waiting area, and wheeled in for triage ahead of me. I was in severe pain. Only after my husband complaining was I assisted. Secondly, after being seen by the doctor, and x rays done, she instructed the nurse to put a splint on my broken toe. Nothing happened for 30 minutes and upon enquiry, she then proceeded to bandage my foot. She didn't fasten the splint, nor did she secure my toe into a straight position. She just wound some bandage around my foot. The next day I had to remove the bandage after my foot started turning blue and feeling pins and needles due to reduced blood circulation. The splint was not secured, and all my toes were squashed. I had to re-do the splint myself. The whole experience left me very disappointed as I expected more from medical professionals and a private hospital trauma unit.
