Trauma centre

Ive had great experiences at the emergency in Blauuberg hospital.life saving in fact. But January and February my grandson and my daughter on 2 different occasions experienced more trauma on top of their existing body traumas. My grandson 18 yrs old was taken by his sister to said emergency with side pains at 23.00 After deliberation at 001.00 they decided to transfer him to Somerset hospital stating doctors would be able to remove appendix sooner .He has an overseas medical card.My grandaughter took matter in her own hands and wanted her brother back at Blauuberg Hsp as Somerset was going to treat him with antibiotics for 2 days .He was in a community room not even a ward She brought him to Blauuberg again and demanded a bed Whatever there reason was is unacceptable . He was operated on at 16.00 . The doctor was absolutely terrific . Then my daughter l who is the boys mother last week fell and split her head open so with a towel on the head taken to the same hosp .Well my grandaughter was frantic .as her mother could not get a bed The rooms fully occupied and 1 doctor After 4 hrs head was stapled she went home Yesterday late afternoon went back to trauma to have staples removed well again filled to capacity she said she would come back this morning 16th Feb My problem is this the place cannot handle the large amount of people in casuality also 1 doctor to supply the needs to their patients something should be done Sitting 4 hrs to have an injury seen to and wait for blood to spurt out before you move up on the triage board .We know the staff try their best under circumstances. But it could be life or death .
