the worst feeling ever
My son was admitted at N17 hospital on the 2nd of December. The nursing sister was not welcoming. my son was admitted for jaundice and he was put under te=he uv light which was not explained to us as to how the machine works, the sister noticed apron admission that the lights where not all working she then said she will change the light when other patients have been discharged. The next day tests where take to see if there was progress and the difference was 0.3 cause of lack of resources supp**** to us my sons recovery was taking a tour .... the doc advised to get another light and the sister again said they will wait for a discharge. How does a hospital admitted patients and know they do not have the recourses to attend to the patient as if its a government hospital where that behaviour is expectable.. When I addressed these with the sister that was on duty that day she gave me a mouth full of attitude. she even laughed in my face when I told her my concern. Is this the type of behaviour that netcare gives to clients that are paying so much money to receive the correct service. I spoke to the unit manager on Monday the 4th and she sais she will investigate and get back to me its been a week and no call or communication. This proves to me that you have hired very *********** staff that do not care about the hosipital reputation and the life of the patients. I hope I get relevant feedback or ill take this further im sure the newspapers and all media would love to get this type of feedback
