Terrible service, terrible Thobile Pearl Zondi

My mother was admitted to Netcare alberton hospital in July 2024 for emergency as she was in excessive pain in her abdomen. She was attended to by the docter amd they admitted her. She was then seen by Dr Somwe. It was then stated that she needed to go for a colonoscopy and a gastronomy. The doctors rooms got authorisation to do the procedure. This was not a planned procedure. She was diagnosed with a bleeding Ulcer and Diverticulosis. At no time of this was we told there was a co-payment. 2 months later we get an email from Netcare Alberton Hospital, namely Thobile Pearl Zondi that we must pay R7000. There was no authorisation letter sent to us informing us of the co-payment. At no time did the doctors rooms or the hospital phone us to tell us this. I then contact Fedhealth to see if they would consider wavering the Co-payment as this was not a planned operation and it was emergency. Fedhealth agreed to assist amd asked for the documentation from the docter. I have been sending emails to Thobile asking her to send the documentation and I am ignored. My emails are disregarded and no response is recieved.
