Sunninghill Hospital Disappointment

Morning of the 16th Dec 2023 , I went to Sunninghill Hospital Casualty because I had a pain in my stomach. And was assisted within few minutes of my arrival. But the pain wasn’t going away so I went back around 17pm.

I got there at 17:45 and told the story of my returning, I was put in one of the cubicles and the nurse took my name to look for my file from the morning. I stayed in the cubicle with no assistance for 2 hours in pain and no one is coming to say anything to me. File was not brought to the cubicle, I could hear and see people going up and down talking about how busy it was but no one came to me. At 20:15., 2 hours later I decided to just walk out and leave and I did. I did not have the energy to be complaining I was in pain. I left without seeing anyone or anyone giving me any assistance .

And just to mention, in the Cubicle next to mine, there was a guy who was apparently known, a VIP of some sort to the hospital, who was assisted and check about 5-6 times including the nurse who took my name. And was discharged afterwards, all in the 2 hours of me sitting there without assistance.

And I wasn’t gonna complain about this, until the hospital emailed me some papers because my medical aid won’t take the claim without my authorisation. For what? For NOT being assisted (And I didn’t sung anything for coming in or for going out). and don’t tell me I should have complained to someone at the moment. Not all of us are complainers and I was there sick, and no energy for complaining.
