*****ing from a dying old lady in one of the "Best hospitals" in our country!!!

I want to report a very disturbing incidence at the Netcare Pretoria East hospital. My mother in law was admitted on the 20th of March 2018 in ICU. And after 3 days she was moved to the bone marrow unit. (After founding that she had bone marrow cancer). With four children and for in laws. There were always at least 3 or for children with her. Her one daughter Magda made sure that when moving her from the ICU to the bone marrow unit that her hearing aid were moved with her. ( The hearing aid was R25000.00). She could hardly hear without them.

So each time on of us were there we would make sure that is was in her ears otherwise she could not hear us. Between Sunday the 1st of April and Monday the 2nd of April I realised when visiting her that one of the two was missing. And I searched everywhere. Then went to 3 of the sisters and asked them to look for it as she was not able to hear without this. I Showed them the other one so that they would know what to look for. The Thursday I was there again and realized that the other one was also gone and again went to a couple of the staff and told the whole story. For the they said that the dont know. I asked to please look for it. As for she was cold the the other daughters brought her a blanket in that same week and the Friday the 6th it was still there. The Saturday the 7th when the other daughter Magda was there the blanket was gone. So during the night of the 6th they must have ****** it for it was nowhere to be found.

This is so disturbing. That they would take a dying old ladies hearing aid and the blanket the day before she passed away. !!!

I phoned various times. Emailed them with no success at all.
