Stay away from PTA East Hospital

If I could give 0 starts I would have. WoW what an absolute disgrace of service this hospital has fallen into. I was here 1 year ago and I raved about their services. Now with 7 consecutive days in this hospital I have experienced absolute lack of wanting to help people. I came in with a broken/fractured femur and needed urgent medical attention.

Ringing the bell you wait on the minimum about 20-30min befre someone even remotely look your way. They just want to get the issue sorted and go, not looking properly after their patients. As I am now typing this email I have waited 30min and still no attended. This hospital is no better than a government hospital.

The room I am laying in has absolute no ventilation at 26 deg. And little to none oxygen. I can barely breath. So I ask for a fan and all they do is sit it on me and walk away. Now no one is responding to my call and I'm shivering to the state of hypothermia after a major surgery. The amount of air bubbles that they let into my veins via the IV was at least 1-2ml of air per batch changing medicines! Sureley this can cause issues. I have been coughing up blotches of blood daily and heavy sweat outbreaks but all is ignored. They do not look after you and if they do its with agggg .... what now again! I'm laying in ICU and see an elderly gentleman trying to get the nurses attention fior help as he obviously needed help, even if I ask them to help him they just look at you and cary on whatever they do.

The food: Oh my out of 7 days of food ordering They almost got 2 days right.

I'm finished with my email and still no nurse available to help. This place sucks, if you care for anyone please send them else where.

My girlfriend came all the way from centurion and was in my room before a nurse responded.She had to go and call them and the call button is still on.

This is suppose to be a high care unit
