Staff working in Silos

My Wife was admitted at Netcare waterfall on the 5th February 2022 at the maternity ward. I was not allowed to see her because i have not done a Covid test.

I was surprised because i have been attending gynecologist appointments with her at the hospital but nothing was mention regarding that by the gynecologist or hospital stuff. Worst case scenario if she going giving birth it is clear that they were not going allow me to support her during Labour.

One of the nurses advised me to comeback during visiting hours. When i returned during visiting hours the security stuff requested for covid results which i was not told that they are required aswell during visitation. This is a clear demonstration that the stuff and the security are working in silos.

Netcare waterfall needs to do training with their stuff including security, how rules work and how they are enforced because they are going to lose clients over miscommunication. I wonder, if they are failing to communicate over such,what are the chances patients are given correct medication prescribed by the Dr's
