Some staff are outstanding

<p>I was recently hospitalised for bronchopneumonia, and found the doctor who attended to me to be absolutely outstanding. Dr Kim Barnard is thorough, knowledgeable, and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She explained my condition, and the treatments that were being administered, in depth, and I felt completely safe in her care. How fortunate to have a doctor of her calibre at Blaauwberg Netcare.</p> <p>A member of the nursing staff who stood out head and shoulders above the rest was Caroline Plaatjies. She is so committed to her job, explains each medication, side effect, and is incredibly compassionate and caring. Some patients are incredibly rude, but she never bristled, and always had a smile on her face. She was always doing most of the work, and was so efficient. I salute you Caroline. You are making a huge contribution to the hospital in which you work.</p>
