Shocking Experience at Netcare Sunninghill Hospital

I have just had my worst private hospital experience. From very bad nursing care, bordering on complete neglect to bad attitude after I complained. There was dirty bed linen on the bed when I arrived and I had to go to theatre on that dirty bed. The ward in general was filthy, the nurses did not take hygienic precautions when administering injections and drips (bare hands, no gloves). The food was unhygienic and not fit for human consumption, served on dirty trays with dirty cutlery. When I asked for the aircon to be turned on because the ward was a sauna, I was told it was broken (not true). When I pushed the button for a nurse and got ignored, I was told it was broken ( again not true). I will NEVER enter another Netcare hospital again. They didn’t even administer all the meds prescribed to me by my doctor post surgery. It was worse than a state hospital and I was treated very badly.
