Shocking and Disturbing Service!!!
My wife gave birth to our first born at Netcare Waterfall Hospital on the 20th July 2015. It started when we entered the maternity ward and the gynaecologist confirmed that my wife was in labour. The attending nurse were not very caring (as you would expect in the healtcare profession) and even more alarmingly is that they repeatedly didnt know how to correctly measure my wife's contractions with the equipment. It took me on several occasions to track down a nurse to get them to connect the equipment correctly. They were extremely forceful in moving my wife into the labour ward. It doesnt stop here as it got worse when my wife needed an epidural, we requested to sign the declaration form at 16:40, the useless Anaesthetist only arrived at 18:40. Thereafter, I was asked to leave the room, whilst my wife was in pain. The worst part is that they nurse and anaesthetist spoke in Zulu before asking me to leave. It gets even worse as the same Anaesthesist visited me the next day demanding iimmediate payment (taking away the joy from this moment). Lastly, there was a huge mistake as they made an \administrative"mistake in ordering blood for my wife's transfusion!!! - took a day """
