Shocking!

I was admitted to the hospital on Monday with bad stomach cramps. It took over 2 hours to be admitted which should have been an indication of what was to come. The ward was chaos. The nurses bell never stopped ringing. Last night when I couldnt sleep again I was told the system had been struck by lightening two weeks before and not repaired and there was a 'phantom bell' that went off randomly. Needless to say I never slept at all. Then at 4.30am my reading light started switching itself on and off. I complained to a nurse who just unplugged the entire system so I was left in the dark and unable to sleep as the bell continued to go off every 15 minutes. Eventually I went down to the night supervisor to complained. Her attitude was disgusting. Rude, unhelpful and aggressive. The doctor too was rude. I tried to explain to him that I had not slept and was stressed and as my stomach was worse maybe there was a link. He cut me off saying he was not a stress doctor and wanted to give me colonactomony tomorrow as it would be embarrassing for him if I left with colon cancer he hadn't detected. I discharged myself. Worst hospital experience ever. The hospital is dilapidated and service bad
