Selling expired medication to unsuspecting clients
On the 23 June 2015 morning, my husband Chidiebere Kingsley Onyeri bought medication in this pharmacy for R281.37 S3 Twynsta his BP was on 170,the service was very slow and uncaring, It took forever for the assistant to dispense only to find that the medication dispensed to us expired over a year ago (04 2014) and we were already in Boksburg he had to drive back to Germiston and all he wanted was his money back petrol money for the inconvenience, but the petrol money was refused without a thought so he kept the medication as proof.
My Concerns
Risk on his health and perhaps his life from poison
Too much time taken to dispense one box, was it because she saw it was expired
How did the inspector miss this life hazard
Lack of empathy was it due to lack of respect/concern for this particular patient
The apology was just thrown at him not heart felt at all, refusal to compensate for petrol used driving back with the expired medicine
How many of these boxes have been dispensed to unsuspecting patients

We need serious steps taken to address this, we still have this medication as proof of complete disregard and disrespect of someone's health and life. Please compensate fairly
