Sad how the standards of nursing care has dropped

The nursing care at the hospital this time around was something scary to see, with care givers who left a patient in the bathroom unattended to for almost 25mins in our room whilst I then decided to go to shower in another and then when they got to eventually just threw her in bed leaving her fractured leg dangling outside giving her no assistance to lift it onto the bed i jumped up and lifted it and then the nurse proceeded instead of getting a colleague to help lift the patient high in the bed to make her lift herself using her well leg and holding onto the cotsides. Exhausted as you can imagine the patient fell asleep only two minutes later to be woken up while none of ours were done to have her BP taken. It is painful to watch as a nurse. I must commend the night supervisor that we in the room reported it to it seemed to make a small difference for a while.
