Rude hospital staff

The two stars are just for the Doctor S Khuzwayo who is an awesome paediatrician and the friendly security guards. My overall experience was just horrible. My child was admitted on Wednesday, i slept in, Thursday 5:18am i was rudely waken up by a nurse who told me that they make up beds at 5:30am, that i should get with the program. The food is horrible. Some nurses are very rude and have an attitude of making one feel as though they are making me a favour for nursing my child, an attitude that makes one feel like if i don't bow down to them my child might be badly handled. On Saturday 2 November at noon a teenager was brought into our ward where it was my infant and another toddler, the boy was having a very bad cough. I humbly raised a concern of the cough and asked to be moved to another room. The nurse told me why do i have a problem with the boy cos my child also came coughing. She then started telling the other nurse that wthey have another one who likes special treatment, they weren't even whispering. My husband addressed the nurse and she moved me to the other ward. That Saturday night i was never offered hospital bedding to dress the couch i sleep on, from then on when my husband would come to visit us the two nurses would not greet back when he greeted them. With netcare akasia being the closest hospital to me i would rather travel to far for help than ever set my foot in that hospital.
