******* by Netcare Waterfall Hospital
I believe the hospital is robbing patients and their family by making them pay for parking. It is not like people go to park there out of choice but the in convenience of life which at most of the time is life threatening. While one has to worry about the health of the loved once, they are put in a corner to pay forarking that 2 hours costs R20. If one is to visit an immediate family member for 5 days and twice a day, one will have to pay R200 which exclude the medical expenses. Moreover people are not even afforded an alternative. People pay for parking at the mall because they chose to go there. I mean at Bedfordview Centre if you go to have a meal at the restaurant there, the restaurant give you prepaid parking ticket and the meal is not even a fraction of the medical costs one pays at Netcare Waterfall Hospital. I found that absurd. Patients and their visitors should not be paying for such service.
