Poor service at Netcare Alberton

My brother was brought into Netcare Alberton on Tuesday 20 October 2026 around 20h40 by ambulance to the Emergency unit. We have been waiting since 20h40 and it is now 23h44 and still a Doctor has not seen to him. He has been complaining about his left hand in pain and his daughter found him in serious condition as well as vomitting. The paramedics did a good job but we cant seem to understand why a PRIVATE hospital will make you wait more than 3 hours for a doctor to assess a patient in Emergency unit? I had a similar experience with this same hospital about 2 years ago with my son and waited 2.5 hours in the night to be seeing by a doctor in this same Emergency unit. Poor service. We won't recommend anyone to come to this hospital whose staff behave like they at Government hospital.
