Poor Netcare service

This hospital uses young, inexperienced and unsupervised personnel to attend to it's patients. I witnessed this first hand, when I took my aunt to get her hand stitched. The attending nurse was arrogant and rude. My aunt never even got to see a doctor, although we were charged R956 in doctor's fees. Further more, due to the bad job the young lady did with the stitches, we had to ask my other aunt, a medical nurse at a different hospital to remove the stitches, although the wound was not even close to healing. Th stitches needed to be removed since they were getting stuck in the skin and causing her discomfort. Such poor service, especially in the medical professions, should not be allowed to continue. This hospital, in my opinion and shared by many others, should be reviewed by the medical board. It is ***** to charge for a service that has not been offered. My aunt has also been advised to bring malpractice charges against this hospital. Their manner of service is what I personally have not come to expect from Netcare and if such appalling behaviour an service is their standard, I will think twice about using or reffering them to anyone again.
