Phenomenal people called Paramedics

On Saturday 23rd May at 17H50 one of our complexes handy men fell down the fire escape stairs, sustaining some pretty awful injuries. I called Netcare 911 (our Handyman does not have medical aid, but despite being a private organisation they responded without hesitation), they responded fast, and sent an advanced paramedic as well. The team worked on the patient for over 2 hours, with Care, urgency and dignity. He was in cardiac arrest, and they worked tirelessly to bring him back.<br> The professionalism and care shown by this phenomenal trio was incredibly to see. This has to be one of the most difficult jobs in the world, they see terrible things and have to work in extreme circumstances - yet they manage to do this with care, decency and utter professionalism whilst affording the patient dignity. What a blessing to have people like this. I wish I knew their names, but having dealt with Netcare 911 on a few other occasions, this is the norm and not the exception.
