Pediatric Ward The Bay Hospital Outstanding!!!

Good day,

My son was admitted in Pediatric Ward at the Bay Hospital on Monday 20 September 2021, this was the first time my son was ever admitted. I personally was in accident in October 2020 in Durban and was admitted in a few hospitals afterwards. For this reason, I’m writing this email.

I have had horrible experiences with hospitals, but Pediatric Ward has shown outstanding love and care for my son! I would like to point out the following as I feel it deserves praise:

1. I was given a very warm and friendly detour by a nurse that was on duty when we got settled in our room. 2. The facilities, especially the bathrooms were constantly clean and sanitized. 3. There was no commotion at night and when I rang the bel a nurse was there within 2 min with a warm a friendly smile to assist. 4. The kitchen was equipped with coffee etc. which is an amazing gesture for moms. 5. Each and every single nurse had a smile on their face when they walked in which brightened up my and my sons day, a smile goes a long way.

A special mention to Lynne and Sister Sadia, I can see the passion and commitment you have for patients, and I can’t thank you enough for the compassion and radiance you have shown. This has put a tired mommy’s frown upside down.
