Pathetic service at Netcare Mulbarton hospital

Experience at this hospital is a nightmare when trying to visit a patient. My mother (82 years old) has undergone a knee replacement operation on Monday, 10/01/2022. I tried to visit on Tuesday(11/01/2022), but arrived a bit late as no-one answers the phone at section E. I was told visiting hours are strictly from 11:00 - 11:30, no visiting hours after that, no visiting at night. So, on Wednesday(12/01/2022) I arrived at 11:40 due to work commitment, but I thought they might have some compassion at the hospital, as my mother is old and I just needed to deliver a package, 5 minutes tops. But of course, the BEE decided it's too late. Then, this morning (13/01/2022), I arrive at 10:55 and join the queue to get into the hospital. Remember, you don't just enter the hospital, you stand in a queue and when it's your turn, you supply your id number and name, and also remember only 1 person at the desk to assist. (another person arrived later to assist). My turn comes, and I state who I want to visit and that she is in section E. But guess what, now the rules have changed. Only patients in ICU will be allowed visitors. So, for the 3rd day in a row, I couldn't visit my 82 year old mother who has undergone a complete knee replacement operation. We all know there is covid etc etc, but I had my vaccination shots and I wear my mask, yet I'm not allowed in a hospital??? PATHETIC!! But then again, I can only think who and what management consists of, so limited brain power there, if any at all.
