Pathetic!!

On saturday I rushed my fiancé to Pinehaven Casualty as he hit his finger with a hammer to the bone. All that was needed was to clean the wound and put stitches in. First when we arrived we were told to wait for the sister to assist us as she needs to asses the injury, we waited approximately an hour before being assesed. Then when I walked with my fiancé to the assesment room, the door was slammed in my face whilst still talking to the sister!!! How freaking RUDE!!!! When he came out, she only put a bandage around the injured part and we were told to wait for the doctor. That was another hour. when the doctor finally took him through, he waited again for them to assist him. There was a emergency in the meantime for someone who had to be resuscitated, the nurse went in and when he came out, another nurse asked how it went, his reply "next time we will do it better". My heart sunk to the ground. How can a nurse, someone that works with people's life's say something like that?! I still cannot believe what I heard. When my fiancé eventually came out after another hour passed - in which not one person came to me to give me an update on how he is, he was so ****ed with the doctor who stitched his finger up. she put 5 stitches in and did it so rough and unneatly that it does not even look like it will heal properly. I do not understand how it is possible for an emergency department at a hospital to only have one doctor and one nurse for assesment on duty. People will die and it does not seem that anyone would care. I heard so many wonderful things about Pinehaven Hospital, but after this experiece I will not recommend this hospital to anyone and I sure as hell will not go there. This was the worst experience of my life. Very dissapointed!
