No Care In Surgical ICU

My father in law has been in Surgical ICU for the past 4 weeks. While this does not apply to all the nurses, we have found a general lack of apathy for the patients.

I was appalled to hear that my father in law was made to sleep without any gown for a period of over 4 hours today after his initial gown got messed. Additionally, a few days ago, he needed to go for another surgical procedure and we were told to come urgently to the hospital to complete the consent forms. We waited for over 6 hours just for the forms to be provided. This is not a once off procedure since we are currently faced with the same situation now.

When addressing this with the staff, we are met with bad attitude and a general unwillingness to assist.

This is not about the visitors, but about the patient. I feel that as a private hospital, there should be better controls in place to manage the patient, but it doesn’t seem like the staff have the best interest of the patient at heart.

For the sake of life and death.... URGENTLY ADDRESS THE CARE ST YOUR HOSPITAL!!!!
