No accountabilty and poor process

My experience with this hospital has been extremely disappointing. While the medical treatment itself may have been acceptable, the administrative handling of my admission has caused unnecessary stress and financial hardship.

After speaking directly with my medical aid, I was informed that the hospital requested authorization for only one day of hospitalization instead of the three days that I was admitted for. As a result, my claim was rejected due to what appears to be an administrative error by the hospital.

Patients trust hospitals to handle these processes correctly, especially when dealing with medical aid approvals. Instead, I have been left to resolve an issue that should never have happened, spending countless hours contacting my medical aid and escalating the matter.

I have now lodged a formal complaint and escalated the issue with my medical aid. I sincerely hope the hospital improves its administrative processes so that other patients do not experience the same frustration and financial uncer*****y.

I expected professionalism and accountability, but unfortunately, this experience has fallen far short of that standard.
