NETCARES FAILURE TO PROVIDE ACCURATE ESTIMATIONS OF PATIENT BILLS, WHICH SHOULD BE A VALUE CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE RIGHT ANSWER WHEN THERE WERE NO COMPLICATIONS WITH THE PROCEDURE
A procedure/ operation was executed in the Intercare Day Hospital in Hazeldean. The operation was on the 18th of October 2021. Before the operation financial costs pertaining to the operation were reviewed and in the end agreed with Affinity , which would cover all costs based on all quotations and estimates (defined as a value that is close enough to the right answer). After the operation the hospital charged me 66% than the actual estimate. This is outrageous and unacceptable. If a mistake was made by the hospital when they gave the actual estimation that should not be the liability of the patient but the non performance of the hospital employees that are responsible to ensure more accuracy around estimates. Who is going to pay this bill ..... R19,000 more than the estimate!!!!!
