My Baby Has Been Admitted To Netcare Waterfall City For Almost A Week Now... And Today I Have Reached My Threshold! My Baby Is Left Unattended For Her Nappy To Fill Till It Overflows. On Wednesday My Baby Is Moved From Peads Ward To ICU. And At 5 When She's Supposed To Eat, Only Then The Nurse (Vinny) Goes To The Peads Ward To Get The Bottles! My Baby Had An EEG Done Which Left Her Head With The Gel Used To Pin Down The Leads... I Have Asked Them To Wash It Off And Finally I Decided On Saturday (23/05/2020) I Will Bring My Own Shampoo To Wash It Off. I Ask Vinny For A Bowl And She Tells Me She Is Going To Eat Now And They Will Bath Her At Night. My Argument Was, If You Do It Every Day To No Avail, Where's The Problem When I Do It Myself? And All I Need Is A Bowl... On Friday (22/05/2020) I Checked My Baby's Nappy... It Was So Full That It Had Stained The Bedding! I Told Vinny, We Changed The Bedding And That Was It. Today (24/05/2020) I Check Her Nappy AGAIN And It Has Leaked Through... I Change It And Notice The Wipes Are Finished! I Asked Her Why She Didn't Tell Me They're Finished... And I Asked If The Pharmacy Sells Them Still To Which She Called And Told Me No... I Headed For The Mall Only To Find That They Closed At 5. I Called Her On My Way Back Home To Express My Profuse Frustration At Her Silence... She Tells Me It Was My Responsibility To Have Checked. At That Moment, My Phone's Airtime Died And I Bought Some To Call Back. I Tell Her On The Second Call That She Has Spoken With No Remorse And She Says How Do You Expect Me To Apologize To An Off Phone? I Say To Her "You're Speaking With No Remorse, Respect Or Even Care" And She Says "Well, You Can Report It Tomorrow" Shocked, I Say To Her That I Could've Easily Gone With An Apology And She Says "Well, Report Tomorrow" I Called The In Charge Immediately To Express My Grief And She Said It Will Be Reported Tomorrow. I Say To Her Such Behavior Cannot Wait Till Tomorrow To Be Corrected And That If I Must, I Will Call For Her Discharge Immediately As I Am Gravely Disappointed! Netcare Is Baragwanath Hospital On Steroids... Let Us Rather Take Away The "Private Hospital" Title Because That Is Not The Treatment To Be Expected! Vinny Had Seen Absolutely Nothing Wrong With Her Conduct And It Is Extremely Appaling!
