Netcare Unitas Hospital Refunds

I had to pay upfront for my cousin’s hip replacement, as she has no medical aid at Netcare Unitas Hospital, based on quotations given to her. The quotation was however in excess of R49 000 than what was required. I have requested a refund for the amount on 19/5/23 with all the required information enclosed but to date has not received it. It is a nightmare to get to the correct person to enquire about the refund as you get send backwards and forwards. When you get through it seems as if you are talking to somebody at his house instead to the financial department of a major medical facility. The last time I managed to speak to someone I was promised payment on 23/6/23. Needless to say I did not received it and it is ironic that you have to pay upfront at inflated quotations but refunds are not forthcoming weeks after the hospitalisation. Case No is ***.
