Netcare Umhlanga stole R600.00 from me
In 2020 on April 3rd I gave birth to a baby girl at Umhlanga hospital which is part of the netcare group. Prior I bought a birth passport which cost me R600.. Upon delivery and staying at the hospital for 3days I was told there are no baby bags to give me as this was in the early stages of Covid 19 and I was told I will receive a call as to when i there is stock available. I made numerous calls to the hospital with no joy as no-one could help me. part of the of the package was birth registration which was also not done and due to covid 19 we were afraid to go into the home affairs. I called the hospital to assist me with this as well and they refused. I would like to say that Netcare hospital is lying to their patients under false pretenses upon bed registration. I would like a refund of my R600.00 as it's been over a year and no-one has assisted me with getting my bag or my baby registered.
