Hi my brother-in-law who is a chronic diabetic,depressive, has seizures. Was admitted into the emergency 24 hour clinic in umhlanga lay in a bed for over three hours waiting for a drip to be administered, as no one on duty was qualified enough, eventually they called in a paramedic from the ambulance service to administer the drip. My Brother in law had fallen at work two day’s previous and broken his ribs, the day he went to netcare Umhlanga he had been vomiting all morning and was really Ill my husband his brother went and fetched him and got him into the 24 hour clinic, they gave him a sandwich which the beggar on the street would have refused Time of checking in 6.30 time admitted to ward 12pm he had stomach X Rays and chest still no results 9 pm following night On my husbands visit at 7 pm tonight he was so anxious and depressed as the staff refused to give him his anti depressants as they did not want to Disturb the specialist who has been treating him for years My husband went to the front desk to nurses station and asked them to Please give him his medication their reply was eish we will try Really ‘n
