Netcare The Bay Hospital *******

My husband was admitted and a scope done on a Sunday. Authorisation was only received the Monday,post the scope. The co-payment was taken from the MSA without checking with us!!! Hospital thereafter granted a 50% discount after the medical aid had paid them. The hospital account is in credit and they choose to write it off and not refund us!! This is very bad service as the hospital FAILED to communicate the co-payment and we are left with no available savings! My husband could not do a follow up because of this!!!! Why can we not be refunded, why keep the money! It's not a simple write off, it's money that should be refunded as the hospital itself granted the 50% discount!!!
