Netcare sunward park... A filthy disgrace of a pvt hospital.

I went to Netcare sunwardpark hospital to give biryh. To say it was the the worat expirience of my life is an understatement.

The delivery ward had a bed that was not functioning, the incubator was alsonot working. The nurse who was helping me with the delivery was rude ( she most probably comes from a public hospital), impatient overall a horrible humn being.

Me and and my baby had to sit in a bed and linen filled with blood for the whole day as i eaited for my covid results. With little information given, my baby covered in an old rag of a towel covered in blood for more than 8 hrs. I had dripped blood on the floor while trying to go to the toilet, it was left standing for more than 4 hrs if not more.

Finally after hours of what felt like eternity, i was moved to a ward with clean linen atleast, i took an overdue bath and my baby was bathed, ate food i never ordered. Atleast some of the staff on the recovery room were nice.

My agony continued, i stayed for 2 days never had a change of bed linen. The bathroom had a smell to it, i think the extractor might not be working. The toilet brush,, i gaged at the site of it. There is is an OHS office right in the mist of the recovery rooms but the health and safety is below unsatisfactory.

Ohh i forgot to mention, in 2017 the maternity ward was under renovations( more like demolition if you ask me).

I would hate for anybody to go through what i went through. I could write a book about my expirience there.

The only good thing that came out of it is my baby is well and I am also alive. I am not sure if I am well.

Worst hospital ever.
