Netcare Sunninghill hospital

The ER is not the place to go to if you need urgent medical attention because you will sit and wait for hours without anyone paying any attention to you. Despite having done paperwork ages ago you will wait even when the ER seems relatively quiet. I understand they work on triage but this is ridiculous!!!! Unfortunately for me it was the closest hospital otherwise if I have a choice I’m never coming here for any emergency. After 3 hours of waiting and constantly asking when we shall see a doctor the doctor that has been there the whole time comes to the room claiming that we have already seen a doctor. I tell him we haven’t he insists that he needs to check if X-ray has been requested. How can X-ray be requested if we haven’t seen any doctor. The incompetence is unbelievable I can’t make this stuff up. So this doctor that has been sitting there for 3 hours not attending to anyone decides after 3 whole hours that he will attend to patients. patients. I saw him there when we were first allocated a bed but I thought maybe he isn’t a doctor or doesn’t work there but 3 hours later he is now ready to attend to us, wild !!!!
