Netcare should close their hospitals because they are in it for the money not to save life’s.

On the 24th of April I was admitted at Netcare Femina for a procedure. After 3pm from procedure I was in terrible pain that was in pain and the pain never went away till tomorrow morning when Dr. came to see me. He saw that I was in pain but went on to discharge me as planned and said I should relax and when I feel better I should go home. The nurses kept on asking what time I’m leaving then I will answer I’m in pain. The other nurse said your doctor is in cape town and there’s nothing we can do. Then afternoon I divided to call my husband to collect me. At night the pain became worse and called Femina which they said they don’t have emergency I must go to other hospital. I called Netcare Unitas which they said they have gynaecologist on call but it was a lie. I went there seen by the dr who was not bothered that I was in terrible pain. He asked if they didn’t tell me the procedure is painful. He said he did take blood test there’s was no infection so was discharged on Saturday morning. The pain was horrible and I could no longer walk. Around 2pm in the 26 I was admitted at Mediclinic and gynaecologist was called and found out I have infection and that’s the reason I was not responding to pain medication given. I stayed on hospital till Wednesday when I went home with mild pain that Ai could manage. Netcare GP is my first GP that I go to with procedure complications abs they don’t refer you to specialist. The first first dr did procedure discharged me even if I was not responding to medication.nurses didn’t care. My experience with Netcare hospital with 36hours was horrible. Unitas wanted me to pay immediately. The cashier told me I can pay half but she took the whole amount after we agreed she must take half. Netcare care about nothing but the money. Unitas I a paid for nothing. They couldn’t even control my pain. My worst experience with Netcare. If you want to die while paying like crazy go to Netcare. The service is like government facility where you don’t pay.
