Netcare Rosebank Casualty Dissapointment

Good day all, yesterday I witnessed an awful experience outside Netcare Rosebank Hospital whilst I was waiting to fetch my mom who currently PA’s for Netcare Rosebank hospital.

A lady from Clicks In the Rosebank Mall Had her hand Jammed in a Truck Door and rushed through to the nearest Casualty to receive treatment which happened to be Netcare Rosebank’s Casualty.

Upon getting to the reception, they refused to bandage her hand up which was bleeding continuously. The reception is then told the lady to go to Netcare Parklane hospital where she would be assisted ( Parklane is a maternity hospital and the receptionist should have know this ). They then covered her hand in a plastic bag and sent her away. It was then that I witnessed something that needs to be credited for. My mom / employee of Netcare but not a qualified nurse stood outside and bandaged this ladies hand with her own personal bandage and stopped the bleeding and then guided her to Netcare Millpark hospital as Netcare Rosebank does not have a 24 Casualty, they work from 6am to 6pm which in my opinion has no value to people who reside in Rosebank... knowing that a Rosebank is becoming the new Sandton, a 24 hour casualty should be a compulsory norm for Netcare Rosebank and most people don’t have transport and time to travel to a different branch just to be taken care of.

I honestly feel the Indian Female in her mid ages should be credited and the hospital should give her praise where due as this should not have been her responsibility but she assisted anyway.
