Netcare Richards Bay Staff Unbothered

One of the staff members experienced an IOD at 16:00 19.12.2023, We arrived at The Netcare Richards Bay at 17:15. We were attended to but there was no rush in the people assisting us they firstly asked the injured person where is your supervisor luckily I entered with her. It went on with a lot of questions but the attitude was off from both ladies assisting us. The biggest issue was a certified copy of an ID , who carries a certified copy of an ID? I offered to bring it the following day but they said no. They will ask the hospital in charge which took more than an hour. We were only assisted by a guy who came for a shift at 19:00 . The 2 ladies were unbothered, did not keep us updated and did not take the injury seriously. It is disheartening that a private hospital of Netcare has such service and no care in the world. A government hospital has better treatment than the Richards Bay Netcare hospital. In government hospitals there are numbers on the wall to track time, numbers you can call to be assisted if a certain time has lapsed. Very disappointing for Netcare. We only finished at 21:00 from 17:15 for a very serious injury. Eyes do not have spares and for the hospital staff to be so relaxed when a person needs special attention. It is so sad.
