Netcare Pretoria East Hospital ER horror

Netcare Pretoria East - The most horrific ER. On our medical aid there is no co payment for ER. But as we discovered today, this hospital demands a co payment to be seen by a doctor in the ER. May I add it was a 6 year old child who had a broken foot. Bonitas confirmed that there was no co payment and that this hospital was in the wrong. This hospital then proceeded to say that it is an administrative fee but then why is Bonitas 'administration fee' R390 and Discovery's 'administration fee' R900? First you said it is a co payment then you say it is a administration fee - which one is it? Also there is no code for this strange fee you wanted to charge us. Is it greed? This child then had to go to a GP and get sent back to the hospital for x-rays and by that time it was too late to get the orthopedic doctor to put on his cast as it was past his office hours. So due to your ******** practice today, my son is now waiting at home in pain to get his cast in the morning.
