The ICU staff were on point, making sure my mom survived her ordeal. However.... Once she was moved to "high care" nursing staff actively watched her cling on to life, with absolutely no motivation to even offer her a sip of water, not caring that her oxygen fell below 60% SpO2 on their watch, just tending to patients that could interact back with them. It is a true miracle by the Grace of God that she made a recovery to the point we could get her discharged so we can give her proper care at home to rebuild her strength. To anyone with a loved one there, please, I beg you, try get them moved over to a real hospital!
