Netcare Polokwane bad service
My child went sick on midnight 31st December 2018 and we visited Netcare Pholosho at Polokwane where my child was admitted. They offered my baby a child sleeping bed but my 7 months pregnant wife was expected to sit on a non-reclining hard sofa for nights and days. What I noticed is this a black only managed hospital and is the reason is being managed like a public hospital. I met the off duty unit manager to discuss my wife's situation and asked her to find a bed for her as the child is not accepting her granny or myself to sleep with due to sickness but the unit manager refused. I don't know if the word "discretion" has a meaning to Netcare Polokwane staff? Are they customer driven or they say there is nowhere we can go? The unit manager said there is no way they can provide my wife with a bed to take care of the baby and we can see what we can do. This is the worst experience with Netcare because they finally arranged a reclining sofa after I escalated the matter further but now my wife is vomitting a lot due to the wrong sleeping position. I wish Netcare can consider a white manager to step in to resolve this type of a situation as we need to get a value of what we are paying for. I am not being racial but just viewing the current situation as it is and feel is the way this can be resolved. My wife need to be admitted now and who will be taking care of the baby?
